Flags at half staff through Sept 20

President Obama has proclaimed that American flags should fly at half-staff through Friday, September 20th "as a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on September 16, 2013, at the Washington Navy Yard . . ."

 

Accordingly, the flag at the Anderson Island Memorial Park has been lowered to half-staff, and shall remain so until Fridayevening.
